In preparation of your acupuncture appointment:
- Pre-screening prior to your appointment. You will receive a COVID-19 screening form via the patient portal that must be completed before your appointment.
- Patients are asked not to schedule an appointment and to contact their primary care provider through telephone if they have had any of the following symptoms: fever, new or worsening cough, shortness of breath, loss of taste or smell, body aches, sore throat, or difficulty breathing.
- Patients are asked to wait to schedule their appointment if in the last 10 days they have been in close contact with a person who is suspected to have COVID-19 while that person was ill or been in close contact with a person who has a confirmed case of COVID-19. This wait can be reduced to 7 days if one has a negative COVID-19 test.
- For COVID-19 positive patients, please wait at least 10 days since symptoms first appeared and have at least 24 hours with no fever without the use of fever reducing medications. Other COVID Symptoms must also be improving. See the CDC for more information on these guidelines.
- We are requiring that all patients coming into the clinic wear a face mask. The purpose of the mask is to prevent droplet exchange from anyone you are close to, as well as to remind you to not touch your face. If you do not have a proper face mask one will be provided for you.
- Patients are asked to wait in their vehicle and text or call the office when they arrive to wait for a response from Jenny that they can enter the clinic.
- Patients are asked to wash hands with soap and water for 20 seconds at the bathroom sink prior to entering the clinic.
- Patients will enter through the front door and will be directed to their treatment room.
- Keeping payment information on file through AcuSimple to avoid physical contact of cards or sending invoices through email to be paid prior to your appointment.
