Our focus is to provide the best care possible to our patients while maintaining a clean and safe environment. We will continue to closely monitor the recommendations from Governor Brown and the Oregon Health Authority, and will adapt clinic policies and procedures as needed.
In preparation of your acupuncture appointment:
- Pre-screening prior to your appointment.
- Patients are asked not to schedule an appointment and to contact their primary care provider through telephone if they have had any of the following symptoms: fever, new or worsening cough, shortness of breath, loss of taste or smell, body aches, sore throat, or difficulty breathing.
- For COVID-19 positive patients, please wait at least 5 days since symptoms first appeared and have at least 24 hours with no fever without the use of fever reducing medications. Other COVID Symptoms must also be improving. See the CDC for more information on these guidelines.
- All patients coming into the clinic are required to wear a face mask, per state regulations. Current CDC and OHA guidelines for vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals require facemasks in healthcare settings. The purpose of the mask is to prevent droplet exchange from anyone you are close to, as well as to remind you to not touch your face. If you do not have a proper face mask one will be provided for you.
- Patients are asked to wait in their vehicle and text or call the office when they arrive to wait for a response from Jenny that they can enter the clinic.
- Patients are asked to sanitize or wash hands with soap and water for 20 seconds at the bathroom sink prior to entering the treatment room.
